CBD is plant-based natural medicine that has been used for thousands of years. Only recently has cannabis gained a social stigma and legal roadblocks. For millennia before, cannabis preparations had been a normal staple of the human diet and medical arsenal. Believe it or not, in 1977 Carl Sagan proposed that cannabis may have actually been the world’s first agricultural crop, leading to the development of civilization itself.
Politics of the 1930’s caused the removal of cannabis-derived nutrients and health benefits from the average diet. We lost several generations of optimum health and potential research. But, I’m optimistic because this trend is changing with the help of education around CBD.
